This section provides a summary of the SETUP.CFG namelist file parameters required in configuring the model to perform certain specialized calculations. The default value is shown in bold with each variable and a link to the User's Guide page with a more detailed discussion of the options. The namelist options that only affect trajectories are shown in italics.

• CAPEMIN=-1 -1 no convection; -2 Grell convection scheme; -3 extreme convection; >0 enhanced vertical mixing when CAPE exceeds this value (J/kg)
• AREA=0 set emission area shape square (0) or circle (1)
• CMASS=0 compute grid concentrations (0) or grid mass (1)
