Dispersion using WRF/ARWHYSPLIT logo

Overview

In this section, select HYSPLIT registered users can run the offline HYSPLIT model using high temporal and spatial resolution meteorological data from the WRF/ARW mesoscale meteorological model. These users can also either run WRF to obtain 9 hours of meteorological data at 3 km horizontal resolution for running HYSPLIT offline, or run the in-line WRF/HYSPLIT model at 1 km resolution for up to 3 hours to provide the highest resolution currently possible.

Current WRF Meteorological Domains

Run HYSPLIT offline with previously created WRF meteorological data

Run WRF/ARW model to create high-resolution meteorological data

Run Inline WRF/HYSPLIT model
