* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following
  county, Vinton.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
  flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1207 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen. Several roads remain closed due to high water.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski, Creola and Eagle Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* At 1214 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Birch River to near Elkview, moving southeast
  at 30 mph.

POCAHONTAS AND EAST CENTRAL WEBSTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM EDT...

At 1218 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Snowshoe, or 12 miles northwest of Cass Scenic
Railroad, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Marlinton, Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank, Snowshoe, Mingo, Dunmore,
Monterville, Arbovale, Slaty Fork, Frost, Waneta, Boyer, Edray,
Valley Head, and Bergoo.

a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Richwood to 6 miles
northeast of Gauley Bridge. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Summersville, Richwood, Craigsville, Calvin, Kesslers Cross Lanes,
