Mainly sunny skies early this afternoon will give way to
developing showers and thunderstorms by late afternoon.
High temperatures will range from the low 80s atop the highest
ridges of the Laurel Highlands to the low 90s across the
Susquehanna and Delaware Valleys. Heat indices will top out near
100 degrees across southeastern Pennsylvania.
A cold front will cross the region on Tuesday, accompanied by more
numerous showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms over northwest
Pennsylvania overnight will slowly push across the state through
the daylight hours. Behind this front during the later part of
the week, it will be cooler and less humid.
