THROUGH 600 PM CDT...
At 513 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms in northern Roberts County and southeastern Lipscomb
County moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Lipscomb, northern Roberts, northwestern Hemphill and southeastern
Ochiltree Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.
.DAY ONE...Today.
Chances of showers and thunderstorms are expected once again with
best chances present in the Northwestern Panhandles. Main threat
is focused on damaging winds and heavy rainfall, but large hail
can not be ruled out.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday.
Chances of showers and thunderstorms remain possible Sunday and
again Monday, with potential to see strong to severe thunderstorms
once again. Hotter temperatures do look to return Tuesday, which
could prompt heat related products for some of our know hotter
locations.
