At 9:08 PM...Doppler radars detected isolated weakening rain showers across parts of northwest Arkansas into extreme southeast Oklahoma. This activity continues to move off to the northeast at around 30 mph. Through 10:30 PM...Isolated rain showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two will be possible for locations across far southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, mainly along and east of a Big Cedar to Winslow to Oak Hill line. Light to occasional moderate rainfall will be common with this activity. Locally heavy downpours can be expected with any thunderstorms that may occur, along with dangerous cloud to ground lightning. The precipitation is expected to move out of the area by 10:30 PM, therefore this will be the final short term forecast issued for this event. $$
