At 2:45 AM...National Weather Service doppler radars continued to detect scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms lifting northeast across southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Most of the precipitation was southeast of a line from near Grove to Eufaula. All this activity was moving toward the northeast, around 40 miles per hour. Through 5:00 AM...Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to expand across the area. Moderate to brief heavy rainfall can be expected from this activity, with amounts ranging from a few hundredths of an inch, to near a quarter inch with any stronger storms. $$
