.DISCUSSION...Upper level trough of low pressure from the Pacific
will come inland across Oregon today and Idaho this evening.  The
trough will develop scattered thunderstorms from the mid-level
monsoon moisture already in place.  Little if any rain is expected
as the lower atmosphere is still very dry.  But thunderstorms will
produce lightning and erratic gusty winds.  The trough will exit
to the east overnight, and Saturday will be sunny.
