Counting Particle Trajectories


  • Each particle has mass of 1.0
  • Particle intersections sum on the concentration grid
  • Results are not divided by the grid cell volume
  • Output files are manipulated with the concentration utilities
  • Results similar to the trajectory frequency plot with residence time
  • Unlike the mean wind only trajectories, includes stability effects
  • Particle count results are similar to the center-of-mass trajectories
