...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Temperatures in the low to mid 30 degree range will
result in frost formation, primarily across interior northern
Michigan away from the immediate lakeshores. Localized low-lying
areas may see temperatures fall below freezing.
* WHERE...Portions of Northern Lower Michigan.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if
left uncovered.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Use of
frost fans may be needed given the expected strong inversion and
warmer temperatures in place above the ground surface.
