162.400 MHz, may experience occasional broadcast interruptions
through Thursday, May 2nd, due to an equipment problem.
Please refer to local media and commercial radio for the latest
weather information. The following nearby NOAA Weather radio
transmitters that can be used include: Bogalusa, LA on a
frequency of 162.525 MHz, Leakesville broadcasting on a frequency
of 162.425 MHz, and Mobile, AL broadcasting on a frequency of
162.550 MHz.

...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Today in Cherokee and
Angelina Counties in Texas...
The National Weather Service office in Shreveport LA will conduct
a storm survey today in Cherokee and Angelina Counties in Texas.
The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved
through the area on Sunday April 28 2024.
A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by this evening.
